Maxis Speeds Up Cloud Adoption for Malaysian Businesses with AWS Infrastructure

Maxis, Malaysia’s leading integrated telco, is set to accelerate cloud adoption for businesses nationwide by leveraging the newly launched Amazon Web Services (AWS) infrastructure Region in Malaysia. Through Maxis Business, the company’s enterprise arm, businesses can now migrate their data and workloads to the cloud with enhanced security and seamless efficiency, thanks to local data residency.

By prioritising data residency within Malaysia, Maxis ensures businesses meet regulatory compliance while enjoying enhanced security and reduced latency. This infrastructure allows faster and more reliable cloud operations, enabling Malaysian enterprises to harness advanced technologies such as artificial intelligence (AI), generative AI, and large-scale analytics.

As the only telco in Malaysia to hold AWS Advanced Tier Services Partner and AWS Direct Connect Partner status, Maxis is uniquely positioned to support businesses in their cloud migration journey. In conjunction with the recent AWS Region launch, Maxis Business is offering its Cloud Mover programme, available until 30 November 2024. This initiative provides free cloud migration services and up to RM10,000 in credit, including six months of Direct Connect.
